Google has released its list of April updates. Lot’s of named updates were included (oddly “Penguin” was not the listed name for any of them).
Some really interesting updates we found include a new tier of indexing being added, lots of localization features, as well as a continued push to improve the internationalization of Google services.

As technology evolves and more businesses are using the Internet to connect with consumers, Google Consumer Survey allows for businesses to perfect their marketing strategies through Internet surveys. A business can ask important questions by using customizable survey templates.
Here’s a look at a few surveys Google has put up on its site:
This seems to be a win-win-win for everyone involved. Marketers get the insight they need. Publishers in the Google network get paid for posting the surveys on premium content. Google released Google Drive today, but by default it is not available to everyone.
According to Google ‘Drive Transition’ Support Documents, they’ll be rolling out the service in 3 phases over the next couple of weeks (Opt-In, Opt-Out, Full Transition). Read the rest of this entry »

If your internet advertising budget is slim (or virtually nonexistent), you’re still able to get found online and get customers without spending a lot of money on advertising. To get the most from your time and money, consider focusing on sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and well established services like AdWords that have credibility and perform well in the search engines. Once you’ve built your profiles it will be important you remain active, so only create profiles you know you can manage on a semi-regular basis.
LinkedIn is, quite possibly, one of the best ways for a person to network on a professional level online. You can get found by other professionals, and you can build relationships that will lead you to other opportunities for marketing development. From there, you can start turning those new connections into customers, that will lead you to even more!
